They tend to lay there eggs in rows or in clusters near aphid colonies so there larvae can start eating as soon as they hatch

How did the ladybug get its name?

You see back in the day when farmers used to have tons of pest in their crops, They would pray to the Virgin Mary to get rid of the pest in their crops. Then they would notice these bugs that would eat the pest from eating their crops and called them beetle of Our Lady.. This is how the name stuck around but was later shortened to Lady Beetle as the proper name and Ladybug as a common name but remember it’s a beetle of the insect class..
